Where it appears
The Send to Endear button appears on the try-on result screen in stylist surfaces only:
The button is hidden in the shopper-facing embedded and hosted experiences, and it only renders once an Endear API key is saved for that store.
Before you start
- An Endear account with API access.
- Your Shopify catalog synced into Endear. Hemsy attaches products by their Shopify variant ID, so a look can only be sent if those variants already exist in Endear.
- A Hemsy plan that includes Integrations.
Setup
- In the Hemsy dashboard, open Integrations.
- On the Endear card, paste your Endear API Key. You’ll find it in your Endear dashboard under Settings → API.
- Save. The card shows Connected, and Send to Endear appears for stylists on that store.
Endear only needs an API key. Unlike Segment, there is no endpoint URL to
configure.
Creating a story
- Build the look and run the try-on as usual.
- On the result screen, click Send to Endear.
- Enter a Title (required) and an optional Description.
- Click Create Story. Hemsy confirms with Story created in Endear! and the story is ready in Endear.
What Hemsy sends
Each story is built from the look on screen:
Hemsy resolves the Endear variant reference from your synced catalog, so Shopify variant
41931355815995 becomes shop://{shop-integration-id}/ProductVariant/41931355815995.
Troubleshooting
If Send to Endear never appears, check that the card shows Connected and that you’re in a stylist surface — the button is intentionally hidden in shopper-facing embeds.
